Sam's Nutella Money Bags

What do you do when you are stuck in the house and it has been drizzly and miserable all day? You get some chocolate on your plate, of course!  We had some left over poori dough so Sam had this idea of making tiny pooris and smearing Nutella on them - and this then led to the next obvious iteration - Nutella stuffed dumplings.

Deep fried, chocolatey, with a sprinkling of icing sugar and nuts - you cant go wrong with this snack!

For the dough:

1 cup flour
a pinch of salt
Enough water to make a nice smooth dough
Oil for frying

For the filling:

Nutella

For garnish:

Icing sugar
Chopped walnuts and almonds
A smear of Nutella

Method:

Make a smooth dough with the flour, water and salt and set aside for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, make small balls with the dough and roll them out into little circles about 2 inches in diameter.

In the middle of each circle, place a 1/4 teaspoon of Nutella.  Pinch the sides pleating them as you go along and finish by taking all the pleats and scrunching them up at the top.

Deep fry in hot oil till the money bags are golden brown.

Serve with extra Nutella and a sprinkling of chopped nuts and icing sugar.

Enjoy!
